Medics in Wildstar are tech-savvy warriors who use the powers of Science and Skrillex to mend their allies and annihilate their foes. Armed with space-age defibrillator paddles called Resonators, medium armor, and a vast array of dubstep-esque sound effects, they enter battle as a mid-range class with wide, frontal square and cone-shaped telegraphs that extend roughly 15 meters in front of them. And while listening to bass-heavy jams and performing brain surgery is cool and all, this guide will focus on the ins and outs of offensively-oriented Medics who wish to use their countless years pursuing a medical degree to kick some serious ass.

In PvP, Medics are flexible combatants able to bring excellent sustained damage, solid burst damage, and amazing utility. As a mid-range class, they reap the benefits of large, wide telegraphs but don’t have to worry about sticking to their targets like their melee counterparts do. As such, Medics make excellent AoE damage dealers who can avoid eating unnecessary damage and CC effects by positioning themselves slightly outside the thick of combat, but still hit multiple targets with their broad attacks. Through a combination of powerful offensive buffs and debuffs, fully mobile freeform casts, and strong damage, Medics make great additions to any team fight while still being strong duelists.

In PvE Medics are excellent damage dealers able to push out solid DPS of their own while simultaneously buffing the overall damage output of their party or raid. Using area of effect ground-targeted fields and large telegraphs, they are great at taking down multiple enemies at once, but can still compete with the best when it comes to single target DPS. Through strong synergistic AMPs that boost Assault Power and crit rate to obscene levels and offensive buffs such as Empowering Probes, Medics make excellent damage dealers who are able to keep up their onslaught while stationary or on the move.
